Full Ambidextrous AR15 with Hogue Ghillie Green Furniture and Cerakoting

This rifle has been Cerakoted to compliment the ruberized Hogue furniture while increasing durability. The 16 inch Faxon Firearms barrel combined with the Curse muzzle break and a mid length gas tube make this rifle a dream to shoot with virtually no muzzle rise or kick. WMD Guns Nib-X bolt carrier mates up perfectly with the quality barrel while reducing the need to clean and lubricate the carrier which further improves reliability. The lower receiver was modified to allow installation of the PDQ Ambidextrous bolt catch/release. This simple modification works extremely well and puts the release within index finger range for right handed shooters. The ambidextrous mag release from Knights Armarment was chosen due to the exceptional quality and reliability of KAC products. Rubberized Hogue furniture combines the ability to easily accessorize and has several built in QD sling points built in. A BCM endplate with a QD socket in the middle provides yet another mounting point.

The pull of the QMS is very similar to a standard mil-spec trigger, however the majority of the associated grittiness of the stock trigger pull has been removed while the well known reliability of a stock trigger remains. The pull weight is not lower than the M4/M16 minimum weight specification of 5.5lbs.

1. Performance Advantages for the Shooter
• The ALG Defense QMS trigger pull is smoother than a stock trigger. This is accomplished by honing the sear surfaces smooth while not removing metal below the valleys of the stock surface finish.
• Sear geometry has not been changed from standard so the high reliability that the stock trigger is known for is unchanged.
• Trigger and hammer are made from true 8620 alloy steel military specification castings, correctly carburized, quenched and tempered for high surface hardness.
• Disconnector is 1070 High Carbon steel properly Austempered into the spring range of hardness
• Springs are corrosion resistant and meet military specifications.
• A full force hammer spring is used for positive ignition of all type of ammunition.
• Trigger and hammer pins are improved over stock mild steel by using 4140 Chrome-Moly steel that has been quenched and tempered. Pins are centerless ground to a fine finish and a diameter 0.001” larger than stock to reduce play in the trigger assembly while retaining a slip fit into the weapon lower receiver.
• Pull weight is above the U.S. Military minimum pull weight of 5.5lbs but does not reach near the upper limit of 9.5lbs. Generally, the pull weight is about 6.5lbs.

When performing an emergency reload a shooter will typically use his left hand to insert a fresh magazine, press the bolt release, and return hand to shooting position. All WMD BCG components are manufactured by Defense Industrial Base suppliers to WMD's exacting specifications to provide the best BCG available. Specifically engineered for NiB-X nickel boron coating to provide long life, high reliability and easy cleaning and maintenance. The BCG components are coated and polished to reduce fouling adherence. Coating is guaranteed for life against chipping, spalling or flaking. Over 30K rounds in Government protocol endurance testing did not wear the coating off. Especially beneficial in short barrel setups and suppressed platforms.
